The GriefCare Place offers a progressive program of grief care through support groups provided without cost to the griever. It introduces those grieving the death of a loved one to the normal grieving/healing process in a sensitive and gentle way.
For adults who have experienced any death; provides foundational information about normal, natural grief and a safe place to begin grief support.
For adults who have learned about grief and have completed their period of acute grieving (typically in their second year of grief). Continues foundational information and a safe place to continue applied grief work with a focus on reaching healing.
Widowed Women - for women of any age who have experienced the death of a spouse.
Widowed Men - for men of any age who have experienced the death of a spouse.
Bereaved Parents - for parents who have experienced the death of a child of any age.
After Suicide - for adults who have experienced the death of a loved one through a completed suicide.
Other Adult Losses - for adults grieving the death of a parent, sibling, friend or relative other than a spouse or child.
In This Together- for children 6 to 12 years of age; who are gently led in understanding death and grief. Led by a professional clinician.
